Our manure-based Compost Amender is perfect for adding organic matter, improving aeration, water retention and encouraging growth of beneficial micro-organisms. A mix of 100% composted manures sourced from a local certified organic farms, this material is much heavier/denser then our plant-based composts.
This material is run through our 3/4″ screener and truck loads may vary from a coarser texture, brown colour to a fine texture, black colour.
This material must been mixed into existing soils before planting.

Plant-Based Amender Mix

Our Plant-Based Compost Amender is a mix of plant-based compost and mulch. This mix is intended to be mixed into existing soils or placed around flowers, trees and shrubs. Nutrient rich, high organic matter, high microbial activity and moisture retention. Weed-free, this compost amender will aid in beautifying your gardens and landscapes.

Mushroom Manure (Unscreened)

Organic mushroom manure makes a great addition to the garden soil. Adding organic matter, improving aeration, water retention and encouraging growth of beneficial micro-organisms.
Our mushroom manure is sourced from a local farm that grows FVOPA Certified Organic Mushrooms. This product comes “straight from the farm” which means it is unscreened and truck loads may vary from fresher/unweathered (coarse texture, brown colour, and a sweet smell) to fully composted/weathered (fine texture, black colour, and a pungent, earthy smell).

Dry Dairy Manure

Our dried dairy manure is sourced from a local farm and taken only from under the milking palour floors, which means it is suitable for use on organic farms. This product comes “straight from the farm” and is available by full truckloads only.
